Alert: Airtel Giving 3G speeds on 2G Internet Packs

Update: Hope, you enjoyed the time this offer was active. Now go back to your old house as this time has vanished. Goodbye 3G and welcome-back 2G
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello friends, this is a post after a very very long time. If you are an Airtel user, you might be aware of the amazing 3G plan that it launched some months back and it was sadly, discontinued some days back. I reported about the plan, its usefulness and the benefits with its benchmarks earlier but now forget it, its not of any existence now.

Now here comes the anti-depressant good news.

You might know that we can use 3G network on 2G plan. It was of no use because we got the same 2G speeds with a slight speed increase which was not enough to be mentioned. But here comes the good news.

People like me are getting 7.2 Mbps 3G speed at the price of 2G internet pack. You must be seeking for the  instruction, huh? So here are the steps to enjoy Lamborghini at Nano's price :-)
  • Make sure that 3G is activated on your number. To activate 3G, simply send a SMS to 121 with body 3G
  • Now when 3G is activated, activate any 2G internet pack.
  • Switch to 3G network on your mobile device or USB Modem
  • Enjoy
Airtel 3G Internet Speed
Download Speed of Airtel 3G

It is that easy to enjoy high speed internet at the budget. The best Internet plan acc. to me is the Rs 60 1 GB 14 Days plan for Airtel 2G, or better say 3G now.
Details and activation procedure for that plan is given at the link understated.

HTC Butterfly v/s Nokia Lumia 920 - Which One to Pick?

There comes a time when a high end device ends up as a mid-range device because the company creates another great device which is the new flagship of the company. This is the normal life-cycle of every phone possibly and it will keep on going this way till the time the technology is steadily improving and progressing. Both the phones in comparison today, HTC Butterfly and Nokia Lumia 920 used to be the flagships of their respective manufacturers until they were substituted with the HTC One and Nokia Lumia 925 respectively.

Screen & Body

HTC Butterfly The HTC butterfly is a candy-bar form phone with a 5” Full HD display at 1920x1080 pixels resolution at 441 ppi. Compare that to the Nokia Lumia 920, it sports a 4.5” qHD display of 1280x768 pixels at 332 ppi. The screen of the Butterfly ismuch better and sharper than the Lumia 920, but the 920 has an IPS LCD display which makes its display pretty sharp enough to make it capable to compete with Full HD resolutions. Both the screens are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 2. By weight comparison the Lumia 920 is heavier at 185g owing to its great camera and polycarbonate casing. The Butterfly is just 140g.

Hardware

The Lumia 920 runs on a Dual-core 1.5 GHz Krait and Adreno 225 GPU whereas the Butterfly runs on Quad-core 1.5 GHz Krait and Adreno 320 GPU. HTC Butterfly also has double the RAM at 2GB. So all in all, the Butterfly has better specs and is pretty fast, but the 920’s CPU is enough for the phone’s regular functioning owing to a different OS which we will be covering later. The 920 comes with 32GB internal storage which is non-expandable whereas the Butterfly has 16GB internal and is expandable upto 32GB. The 920’s 2000 mAh battery lasts enough for 1.5 days with medium usage whereas the Butterfly’s 2020 mAh battery lasts about 1 day with medium usage due to the stronger processor and screen.

OS

Both these phones run different OSs. The Lumia 920 runs on the new Windows Phone 8 OS which is sleek, snazzy and works like butter. Its Live Tiles are pretty awesome and make the phone very lively. The OS is very light and so the smaller processor of the Lumia is enough to smoothly operate the phone. On the other hand, Butterfly runs on HTC Sense 4.0+ over Android JellyBean 4.1.2. This is a pretty heavy OS and thus the Butterfly’s strong processor does a great job handling it smoothly. The Lumia 920 comes with a high Nokia mobile price in India, and brings the goods to back it up as well.

Camera & Entertainment

Nokia Lumia 920 YellowThe 8MP camera on the HTC Butterfly does a pretty good job and is capable of capturing 1080p videos at 30fps. Its 2.1MP front camera is also capable of 1080p videos at 30fps but the Lumia 920’s 2MP front shooter does a decent job of 720p videos at 30fps. What impresses us the most is Nokia’s 8.7MP PureView HD+ camera that gives some really awesome images. It shoots the best low light images than any camera in the world. Also the 920 comes with some awesome features like Optical Image Stabilization, Autofocus, etc.

Apps & Functionality

If you look at the current situation, Android App Market, Google Play has over 800,000 apps whereas the Windows App Store has just crossed 150,000 figure lately. So it is a matter of time till the Windows OS develops and comes close to the Android or iOS app store for that matter. Though all the basic apps required are there available at the Windows App Store so won’t be actually missing much.

Conclusion

We compared the HTC Butterfly and the Nokia Lumia 920, the ex-flagships of their respective companies and we have decided to have a winner here. So considering all the criteria that we have judged these two phones on, we sure do have a clear winner and that is the HTC Butterfly with its amazing screen, fast processor, greater RAM, and bigger battery. The only place where Nokia manages to beat the HTC is the camera, but overall, it is the Butterfly all the way.

Latest Website Gives Free Mobile Recharge - July 2013

Hello my dear readers, I am sorry that I couldn't update this blog for a long time. Coming to point, as we all know that I have posted about free recharge sites like Pickzup, Embeepay and Ultoo previously, which are of those who work in real life, today I am going to tell you about one more such site which is most promising of all I have seen till my Internet Journey.

You might be already aware of pickzup which gives Rs 3 per referral, Ultoo which gives Rs 1 per referral only. What if a site is launched that has best of both worlds? I mean, if it pays high commission per referral and also allows you to earn money by sending SMS?

The answer is here and a new site has been launched! The name of this awesome website is LyfeTabs which means Life Tabs. In this website, you can earn credits easily and quickly for doing short tasks varying from sending SMS to creating Status Updates!

If you sign up using above link, which is having a unique code attached to it, you will instantly get Rs 5 as sign up bonus
Here are the salient features of this site:
  • Rs 10 per full referral, which is the highest paid by any site till now!
  • Earn 30 paise for every sent to your site friend or 10 paise to anyone else!
  • Allows you to invite as many friends so that you can earn without any break.
  • Many more unique features which makes this site completely different.
  • Minimum amount required to redeem as mobile recharge is just 10 Rs which you can earn by only a single referral.

Referral Rate

As I said above, the referral rate is Rs 10, but there are two conditions needed to earn this commission and these are:-
  • The referral must sign up using your unique referral link from a different computer. Spam sign up will be disapproved, so I hope you don't cheat this site.
  • The referral must complete his account by verifying E-mail address and also the mobile number, or any one of these is missing then you won't get any reward.
  • The site team will verify your referral first and then credit you points and the verification proces can take upto hours.

Earn Money by Sending SMS

As I said above, you can also earn credits by sending SMS very quickly and easily. This is a very good thing about this site and the best is that you get paid a very good amount for sending SMS. For this, you need to verify your mobile number and then start sending SMS. You will be paid 30 paise or 3 points for sending SMS to your site friends and 10 paise to your non-friends which is upto 15 times more than what Ultoo pays you :-)

Inviting New People

You can invite all your friends and family members to this amazing site and for each complete and verified referral, you will directly get Rs 10 which is the highest referral rate for any site now. After joining the site, you can invite your friends from the right sidebar. If you are having trouble in finding a direct referral link, then click on Share on Facebook and share the link with your friends and take the link then from that.

More Unique Features

Free recharge site like Ultoo had a good feature of earning money by sending SMS which was first of its kind. The problem is that the site was having captcha protection after you start sending a lot of SMS. But not in this site, as here you cane easily send SMS to your friends and they will pay you 10 paise to 33 paise depending on whom it is sent. One more thing to note that SMS can be sent only between 9 AM to 9 PM period, so as to protect the privacy of users, and you can NOT send SMS to those numbers on which DND is activated.

You also get paid for creating Status updates in this site by a rate of 33 paise per status and you can also upload your photos to earn same amount which is very easy and fun to achieve.

How to get Free Recharge

For processing your first recharge, you should have atleast 10 Rs in your account which can be earned easily by inviting only one of your dearest friend. One thing to note that this site is very strict and patient in terms of rewarding its users. So you can sometime need to wait for some hours before your referral commission is given to your LyfeTab account. After you have successfully got Rs 10 ore more in your account, then you can request a free recharge from the site. To proceed your free recharge just go to he following link and then fill all the necessary details.
Recharge from LyfeTabs

That's all I have to say about this site. People who are worried about the genuineness of this site, No need to do so as I have myself checked this site and yes it pays, but the only problem is that you have to wait for hours to get the amount credited to your mobile. I don't think it is a problem at all, because you can earn huge from this site easily but with patience!

Top 5 Ways to Speed up Your Android Phone

Make Android Run Faster
Android is the largest used mobile operating system across the globe after Apple’s iOS. It is a touch based OS with a smooth and easy UI. It has a huge app base with more than a million apps available for the users. Of course as the amount of apps build up, the memory used increases hence increasing the overall response time of the OS making it feel like it has become slow, which actually it has not.

Android sure is a very fast operating system but due to all the lags you do not want your experience to be ruined. Hence we are going to see the top 5 ways to speed up your Android phone and reduce all the lags so as to keep your android experience rich, fast and smooth as always.

Stop animations:

Animations actually feel very aesthetic and they are there for the same purpose. But actually when you close the app or start an app or switch between apps, these transition effects or animations take up that extra second to function and then take you to your app. In the beginning this might seem very pleasing, but later it can get a bit frustrating. So for that you just need to go to settings, developer options and in there disable all the animations and transition effects. By default it is set to 1x, but you just set it to none and you are good to go.

Uninstall unused apps:

Installing excess apps on the phone consumes memory since they all need to be loaded and hence keep running in the background. So this slows down the phone as extra cycles are wasted in these apps which you never use. So better to uninstall them and free some space in your phone to make it run faster.

Close all the background apps:

After you are done with your work with any app, it still keeps running in the background. This takes some extra effort from the hardware and OS to support them and also handle the current tasks being performed. So always go to the recent apps location and manually close the apps. Takes some extra seconds but saves on a lot of operating time on the phone. Mobiles on the higher side can handle multiple apps simultaneously, yet the free memory can be put to better use.

Do not use task manager/killers:

Despite popular belief, try not to use app killers. What this does is it deletes all the data in your cache. So if you need that app once again, then the data from the app needs to be loaded up again and again thus requiring more time for the app to start and respond. So all it manages to do to increase your time and not decrease it.

Reboot your phone:

Your phone is just like your computer. If your computer slows down, you restart your computer so that the RAM gets a clean sweep and it starts afresh again. The same is with your Android phone. So just reboot your device once a week maybe to clear out the RAM and restart all the processes so that the phone can work much faster and efficiently to its potential.

These are the top five simple ways to speed up your android phone. If your phone still does not feel fast enough for you after these, then you might want to consider shifting to a different kernel for your phone or reset your device to its factory settings. But all that is a last resort. The above mentioned ways do work, so stick to them and enjoy a faster and better android experience.

If you are sick of your old android phone, the you can check latest mobile phones with their accurate price and specifications here.

Best Android Tablets Under Rs 10,000 - June 2013

The rise of tablets is very high worldwide, more and more people are getting this device regardless of their use and budget. Earlier the time was of PC, but now the PC sales are declining very sharply and tablets are rising up rapidly simultaneously. It makes a very big sense to get yourself a tablet, as these are budget-friendly, extremely usable and can do the task of a Laptop and Mobile as an intermediate between the power of both.

But a little problem that buyers face while getting a tablet for themselves and that is, Which tablet should I buy?

So I am here to help you out for buying a tablet made just for you and your needs. In this post, I will tell you about 4 best tablets to check this summer which are extremely affordable without affecting the quality of the stuff inside!

So here are the five beasts who will defend each other to get the first position. Arranged in increasing price.
  • Micromax Funbook Talk P362
  • Lava XTron+
  • Asus MeMo Pad
  • Samsung Galaxy Tab 2
So let the competition between these tablets begin, and here we start with Micromax Funbook Talk.

Micromax Funbook Talk P362

Micromax is known for its fame and name in India. Sometimes their products disappoint high as fcuk but on the contrary if you pick up their high end stuffs like Canvas HD, you will forget that it is made by a so called cheapo company. Talking about their tablets segment, I have personally used their tablets and they amaze me as well as disappoint me. Talking straightly, here are the things that will make you  happy for your purchase:
  • The touch screen is very responsive and feels smooth as butter, along with that good touch input, the interface also is completely lag-free, thanks to Android 4.1. So no need to compromise on its touch screen quality.
  • Hardware-wise talking, the specs for which you pay are above par and never make you feel disappointed. Most Funbook tablets are powered by Dual Core Mali-400 GPU, which is the reason games will almost run lag-free. The processor is also dual core by Cortex
  • This is the best budget-friendly tablet that supports calling too. But hey, 3G is missing, so you can use this tablet on 2G network only for calling purpose. For Internet connectivity, there is WiFi and USB-OTG support for connecting USB Modems.
Now after knowing its advantages, let me disappoint you a little! The battery backup is below par and drains very quickly after a normal usage of 2-3 hours! But I won't consider this a bad-mark as you know how much you paid for it and you can't expect a little more from that price. By the way, the price of this tablet is Rs 6990 as per on 2-June-2013.

Lava E-Tab Tron+

Just like Micromax, most of us are brand-conscious before buying anything and specially gadgets. Now I am gonna say something to you: You can skip reading the whole post and BUY this tablet right now before it goes out of stock. This tablet is the best in terms of hardware performance, beating Nexus 7 in 3 out of 5 benchmarks. But for the sake of my hard-work and giving you more choice for buying a tablet, I will complete this post and I request you to read it as well.
Here are the reasons to look out for this tablet:
  • 1.5 GHz Dual Core Cortex-A9 processor, 1 GB DDR3 RAM and Quad Core Mail-400 GPU
  • The above line is sufficient to amaze the shit out of your mind, but this muscular boy has got looks too. You get the latest Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and 7-Inch IPS Multi-Touch screen with a resolution of 1024x600.
  • Dual camera being 2 MP the back and 0.3 MP front.
  • 3700 mAh battery for extra backup and to support the high-end specs
So, you might have made your decision of which tablet to buy, so do not wait for anyone else to review it for you, just go ahead and bring it up! And never mind, it can go out of stock very soon just like its predecessor did.

Asus MeMo Pad ME172V

Asus is a well known brand to all of us and popular for its build quality and performance. So here is the Asus's answer for your low-budget tablet. Being priced at Rs 9799, this tablet is gonna meet your performance needs with ease and smoothness. Have a look at its key specs:
  • 1 GHz VIA Processor, 1 GB DDR3L RAM and Mali 400 Graphics
  • Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and a 7-Inch LCD Touch Screen with support of up-to 10 fingers at a time.
  • 4270 mAh Lithium Battery for 7 Hours non-stop use and a 1 MP HD Front Camera for sharp stills.
You might get a little disappointed seeing its low specs for higher pricing. All I would say is that the reason I have added this tablet in the list is its build quality and longer usage cycle because it is a product of Asus.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 P3110

You might say, what is Samsung doing here in the list of budget friendly tablets? Well, if you do not know, recently Samsung recently launched new version of Galaxy Tab 2 but without calling facility for a price of Rs 9990. I need not define anything about how cool and awesome is Galaxy Tab, but still its a rule so here are the quick-specs of this tablet.
  1. 1 GHz Dual Core processor, 1 GB RAM and a PowerVR SGX540 GPU which is a bit older.
  2. 3.15 MP HD Primary camera supporting 720p HD video recording @30 FPS and a 4000 mAh battery for longer backup.
  3. Never mind, it has the most inbuilt storage of 16 GB on board out of which about 13 GB is available to user which is good enough to store a good collection of data
You can rely on this tablet if you want to use for it general purpose like Surfing internet and paying moderate games. The on-paper battery back shows about 93 hours of non-stop music playback, which makes it a good portable entertainment device. Also the inclusion of TouchWiz UI adds up to the usability of the tab's interface. My verdict is that you should consider this tablet, if you are willing for a long-term investment.

The Results

Here is the final comparison of all the tablets I have told you above in the post. Fingers crossed!

Best Airtel 3G and 2G Plan - June 2013

The best of Airtel Internet plans for 2G and 3G are here. We all know that Airtel has been providing the Internet access to us using 2G from many years back. Now the speed is little compromised with the 2G network, but do you know what, the 3G signals are ruling the match. Airtel has best 3G network as for my network circle ( Delhi & NCR )

Many of us are felling nostalgic about the latest changes in the 2G internet plans which seem to be halved keeping the price same. Remember the Rs 98 plan in which you earlier got 2 GB of data, now you only get 600 MB of data for the same price which is three times lesser than previous value. And the same happens with many plans like the Rs 5 Internet plan which gave 50 MB earlier and now giving just 30 MB. And one more to be noticed is the Rs 18 plan which gave 200 MB earlier and so on.

Now coming to the solution to this epic problem, I have come up with a useful plan.
For 2G, its about half the price and data is doubled.

The best 2G data plan, as for now is the Rs 60 plan which is a awesome deal. Here are the details of this plan.

Rs 60 gets deducted from your internal balance and you get 1024 MB of Internet usage including upload, download and surfing for 14 Days. Why this plan is awesome? If you double up the price, you will have 120 Rs and for that amount you will get 2 GB of Internet data for 28 days.

Meanwhile you will remember that a plan is available of Rs 125 which is giving just 1 GB of data. So for spending Rs 5 lesser the actual amount you are getting double the original data. :-)

How to activate this plan

The price of this plan is Rs 60 for Delhi & NCR circle. A note to users is that this plan can NOT be activated by a e-recharge or what you call, Flexi. To activate this plan, here is the procedure:

Maintain a balance of Rs 60 in your SIM. If you have zero balance and are looking for a perfect recharge, then proceed as follows. Recharge your Airtel number with Rs 60, and after that you will get Rs 50.40
but you need Rs 60 for the Internet pack to be activated, so again recharge with Rs 30 and you shall get Rs 23.

So after spending Rs 60+30, you will get Rs 50.40+23 = Rs 73.40
You can also say that you have Rs 60 + Rs 13.40 in your balance.

Now I will quickly show you how to activate the Rs 60 2G plan of 1 GB.

  • Dial *121*8#
  • After dialing the code, you will get a message that tells you that your command is accepted. Just exit that message and wait for a while to let the next message appear.
  • Now the new message will show you different plans grouped into categories.
  • Select More Internet plans and then in that list you will get the plan that you wanted as per our plan.
  • Reply with 5
  • Reply with 1 to confirm the activation of this plan.
  • wait for confirmation and enjoy double data internet for half price.

3G is also rocking

Please Note:  This plan has been removed recently by Airtel.

As I told you that I will let you know the best 3G plan, it is here. Most of us think that 3G is very, costly as high as fcuk. But this is not the case, if you think differently then you can achieve the best internet plan of the world. I am not joking, I have downloaded 900 MB of data in just 29 Minutes for just Rs 11.

I am not trolling you, I have done this thing without any trick, without any hacking and other illegal things.

The plan is Unlimited 3G Internet usage @ 7.2 Mbps speed for just Rs 11. But there is a little problem, this heaven like situation continues for just 30 minutes. But hey, isn't that enough time to download a full length movie in high quality?

You can find all the necessary details and activation procedure using the link below:

Sync Files Easily In Single Click

On everyone’s PC there are a lot of files. Some of them are just occupying space but the rest of other important files are so damn important that you forget to copy them to their respective locations and they are gone straight to hell when you perform a clean format of your PC. Some of these are:

1. Save game files of your games which are stored in the underground storage like AppData folder
2. Saved text files and documents stored in My Documents
3. Thousands of Facebook downloaded pics stored in Downloads folder that go unnoticed.

And many more applications that store their templates and other documents in “My Documents\ {App}\Projects

After reading the above few lines you might have remembered the day when you forgot to backup your save game and then after a fresh install, the games screen shows up blank with achievements and completion progress.

Now getting to point, “What if I say, that all the above things that I told you can be done in a single click!”
Its up to you, which way you choose. One is the older method which executes as follows:

1. Select files of specific extension and type by holding control key and then making clicks to mark the files.
2. Selecting one more file that you forgot which just showed up!
3. Bump! You forgot to hold the control key so the process is nullified and again start selecting files
4. Now cut the files and go to the location where you want to paste them , make a folder and then press Ctrl+V
5. Nothing happens, as the computer didn't received the Ctrl+X request because of the $3 keyboard with low response keys so Ctrl+V has nothing to do.
6. Kick the PC hardly and then say “ I will see you later” and that day never came and your files are lost!

And the method that I am gonna tell you is so smart and easy that the only things that you need to do are

1. Tell the program how it should treat files in your PC
2. No need to do anything for few weeks or depending upon your priority for files
3. When you think it is the right time, execute the program again and then execute the operation.
4. Done

How to get started

To automate your file syncing, you need the following software

1. SyncToy: For managing files across two locations
2. Dropbox or Google Drive: For online backup of your tiny important files
3. 15 Minutes or less for setting up the process

Why SyncToy? Because it is an official application from Microsoft and it is easy to use! Now after downloading SyncToy, you need to download any online backup application like Dropbox. This one is recommended only for those who will prefer their files to be present on the web when the whole computer gets burnt into ashes.

Now install all the applications that you downloaded from the above link and run SyncToy. Here is the wizard window that you should see when SyncToy executes successfully.New Folder pair wizard will run automatically.

Creating a folder pair in SyncToy

What is a Folder Pair

This is the main purpose of the application and the motto of the post that you are reading. Folder pair means relating two folders so that changes and creating of data is done symmetrically in another folder. Here another folder can be a folder in your pen drive, a cloud storage folder as I told you to install Dropbox or just a folder in your hard drive other than the C: Drive so that your files are safe.

So in folder one, specify the folder “Downloads”, Say. Now in the other folder in the right side, specify the folder in which you want the backup of previous folder. Let it be a folder in your pen drive, hard disk or cloud storage, as per your needs. Now after specifying both folders, click on next

Now a confusion might arise between the three modes from which one is to be selected.
Here is a short explanation of each:

1. Synchronize: In this mode both folder will act symmetrical. So changes made like renaming and deletion on either side will effect the other side. Also, files copied to right folder will be sent to left folder as well. So the pairing is two-way.

2. Echo: In this mode files will be copied from left to right only, unlike the synchronize mode. The relation is between the files which are present on the left side with the right side. So this is only one way. Files copied to the right have no effect on the left folder.

3. Contribute: This is similar to Echo mode but the only difference is that files deleted on the left are not deleted from the right folder.

So according to me, the third option is the best for our purpose of backing up. Now click on next and then enter the pairing name. Let it be “backup for downloads”

Now in the left sidebar, you will see your pair name. Now it is time to try our hard work. Just press RUN button and see the action.

Now let us make the real use of the application by organizing right things in the right place. I mean by syncing android apps in different folder and images in other folder. Lets see how this can be done.

For android apps

1. Create a folder pair with all the instructions that we used above
2. Now open the pairing page from SyncToy’s left sidebar
3. Click on Change Options
4. In “Files to Include” field enter “*.apk” Here asterisk wildcard is used to copy all files with .apk extension to the specified location

For Pictures

Follow the same steps as you did for Android apps pairing. Now a question arises, how to select more than one extension?
To do this, you have to specify in the Files to include field, “*.jpg;*.gif;*.png;*.etc” each extension are separated by a ; symbol.

Now create as many pairs you want and then from the right sidebar of SyncToy, select all folder pairs and then click on run all to manage files between two locations at the cost of single click.

This is the end of how-to article, if you face any problem in using SyncToy, feel no shame in asking questions.

Google Introduces Android Studio: App Development Made Easier

As we all know, Android is today's most powerful and popular OS of portable devices. Thousands of Apps are available on Play Store and more are in development. Also, It has also emerged as quite a powerful OS for Application Development. As Android Apps are based on Java, most developers feel at home. But every developer need an IDE [Integrated Development Environment] to work upon, and this is where the  backlog comes.
The only IDE for Android App Development was Eclipse, with the ADT [Android Development Tools] plugin provides in the "Android SDK" [Software Development Kit]. But, it was laggy as hell, gave too many unpredictable errors and was quite difficult to handle for budding developers.
Eclipse with the ADT plugin
So, to solve this big problem, Google introduced Android Studio [Preview for Now] at its annual "Google IO" Conference 2013.
Android Studio
From the above posted pics, we can very well see the difference. Android Studio is much more comprehensive and full blown IDE for App development. The main difference b/w ADT and Studio is that Android Studio is based on the well-known "IntelliJ IDEA", which is an ideal and stable IDE for Java. While, ADT is just some plugin for Eclipse, which, though good enough, is an unstable open-source Java IDE.

For now, Android Studio is just a "Preview Access" and has some bugs, but in the distant future, it WILL be the main IDE for Android App Development.

You may experience some problems while setting-up Android Studio. But don't worry, just refer to this excellent  post on XDA-Developers forum by user "lolrenx" [Link].
